There's something about Sunday weather that just seems to soothe the soul. And Saturday weather too. All throughout yesterday and today I've had the most incredible feelings of nostalgia; old memories of times spent with now-gone friends resurfacing at alarming rates.

The first episode was when I was at work: while I was helping customers, I was staring outside at the overcast sky gently lit by the hidden continually-reddening sun. The sight, though somewhat cliche, immediately served to calm my usually eccentric demeanor. This lasted until the sun set...

...it was like I'd seen that same scene before, feeling the same way. Bizarre.

The same thing happened today when I woke up. The sky was a pristine blue and the sun was its usual golden globule self. Chilly gusts of wind blew sporadically, but so long as you stood in the sun it was pleasantly warm. And there was this smell in the air - indescribable, save for the fact that it was the one that lets you know when autumn is arriving. The sheer serenity of the scene led me to (once again) think of times long ago.

Perhaps it's the fact that I'm now in Grade 12 - Univeristy is not far off. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my life, and I suppose I'm wistfully thinking of my past; things were simpler then.

Thanks to several efforts of mine, my inspiration is restored. I'll attempt to finish off the Fire series first, as I planned to have only 3 parts... perhaps 2. Red and the soon-to-be-introduced character Rust have grown on me as I've developed their characters. Not terribly talkative, but at the same time intriguing. Or so I think
